If the soil is dry, water again; if it is not, wait to water until it is. This is often an overlooked way to increase your plant health but it is one that is vital to your plant's success.

The next thing that you can do to increase your plants' crop production is to provide them with proper indoor lighting. There are many different types of indoor lights ranging from indoor LED grow lights to incandescent grow lights, but just remember to get ones that produce high lumen output, cover the spectrum of light you want, and do not draw a lot of power or put out a lot of heat. The grow lights that I have found to be ideal for growing small indoor gardens are UFO LED grow lights. These types of grow lights are great for all stages of plants and they do not put off a lot of heat like some other types of grow lights.

Anyhow, back to the main focus: With any light that you buy make sure that you read the instructions and do not put the light closer than it says, as this will make your plants shrivel and die. Also, if you are trying to build strong roots and a healthy base then go with a grow light that is in the blue end of the growth spectrum and a red light for the flowering stages as this will result in larger and more beautiful flowers and crops.
